Vince Zampella, Has Died in an LA Vehicle Accident
Vince Zampella, who helped create the wildly popular video game Call of Duty, has tragically died in a car accident in the state of California at the age of 55.
His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the development studio he co-founded.
The renowned game designer died after his vehicle was involved in a crash and was engulfed in flames on a motorway in Los Angeles on this past Sunday, according to.
"This represents a heartbreaking loss, and we stand with Vince's family, his family, and all those touched by his creative vision," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts said.
