It was classic 'previous Bills teams' as they hurt themselves in the foot, falling into a deficit on defensive side and Josh Allen trying to overcompensate to rescue his squad out of it - not the calm, controlled, well-balanced Bills we've witnessed this year

Miami have served up a bit of everything this season so the jury's out on if this is the start of a trend, but for Buffalo they'll need an immediate bounce-back in a difficult matchup against Tampa Bay in week 11 as the New England are sneaking into a nice lead at the top of the American Football Conference East

Spotlight - Patriots See Path to Surprise Top Seed

Regarding the Patriots, they're one of three eight and two teams in the NFL, all American Football Conference teams, but are they the best?

One could pick holes in New England, the Broncos and Indianapolis really for dominating the lesser sides, with only five of their combined twenty-four victories coming against opponents with a winning record - and one example was the Indianapolis beating the Broncos

While you can debate who 'the best' is technically, the Pats should be favorites to end with the top record thanks to their schedule - which features just one game against a winning team, although a significant contest against the Bills

Traveling to Baltimore is challenging too, but the Broncos have it even tougher in the AFC West with the Chiefs to play twice, the Los Angeles Chargers (who could also compete for top seed but encounter the identical challenge) and additionally the Packers on the schedule

The Indianapolis also face the Chiefs, and have the Seahawks, San Francisco and two matchups with the five and four Jacksonville to face. There's a long way to go but the door is open for a shock number one position in the AFC

The next matchup on Sunday could be the most exciting of the season so far
